So you think you can vibe code?
Before we start

Hello. You're in the right place.

This guide is for the business owner who keeps having ideas. A quiz that would qualify leads before a discovery call. A calculator that shows a client what she's losing by waiting. A tidy little tool that replaces the spreadsheet you've been duct-taping together for three years. Until recently, most of those ideas stopped at the same place: you would need a developer, a budget and a few months, so the idea went back in the drawer.

That drawer is easier to open now. AI app builders let you describe what you want in plain language and get something working on screen, often in an afternoon. That is genuinely new, and it is genuinely useful. It also comes with a new set of mistakes, most of which have nothing to do with code and everything to do with planning, scope and judgment. Those are the mistakes this guide is designed to help you avoid.

How to use this guide

Read it once from start to finish, then keep it open while you build. Each chapter ends with a BUILD YOURS marker that points to a worksheet in the toolkit. The worksheets are where your idea actually takes shape, so do them as you go rather than saving them for later. You'll also see a few recurring boxes: Nerd Translations explain a technical term in plain language, Vibe Checks ask you to pressure-test your own thinking, Vibe Bumpers stop a project from sprawling, and Vibe Warnings flag real risk.
